A more
efficient way to cool the fluid is by installing a separate external
oil cooler kit. The external oil cooler can either be connected in
series with the existing factory cooler (Diagram
B)
or
directly to the cooler and bypassing the radiator. (Diagram C)

We believe the latter (Diagram C) to be the
best option. A separate external oil cooler kit will prolong the
life of any transmission. Additional automatic transmission cooling
is essential if the vehicle is:
(A) Used for towing or
carrying heavy weights. (B) Driven in city traffic i.e.
continuous stop start driving. (C) Fitted with power accessories
eg. powersteering, airconditioning. |
