Extend the life of your transmission with regular servicing

Heat and contaminants are the enemies of automatic transmissions. Automatic transmission fluid protects your transmission and needs to be replaced regularly to maintain performance and avoid costly repairs.

Transmission service Includes;

Drain transmission fluid
Remove and clean oil pan
Inspect fluid for metal or clutch lining material
Replace filter
Refit the pan with new gasket
Refill with correct grade of transmission fluid
Check for leaks in hoses and seals
Road test operation of transmission

Transmission flush

A flush is required when there are signs of high wear or contaminated transmission fluid. Draining the transmission does not remove all the fluid from the torque converter and cooler lines. A flush involves disconnecting a cooling line and running the engine to pump clean fluid throughout the transmission, flushing out the contaminated fluid and any particles.

CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission)

CVT transmissions use a metal belt running between two drums to provide a smooth transition through the gears. We are experts in servicing all CVT transmissions.
